I have begun to dabble in illustration. I work at a company called Progressive Publishing. These are some of my more recent creations that accompanied an article:

Melaleuca Monthly Order Inserts May-June

Designed to highlight the monthly specials and theme in May. My responsibility was to lay out an 8 page newspaper brochure.

The June cover was an original illustration designed by myself. The client wanted to highlight the many products the company has and used key phrases to illustrate how their company is "Changing the Game." The purple candle spread used elements from the packaging I designed for the candle of the month.

Star and Cody Counseling, LLC Logo

 

Horizontal Version

 

Starr and Cody requested a logo that was uplifting and professional. I designed the icon to reflect a starburst (client requested a star) and a group of homes being unified.

Kari Harlow Logo

Kari Harlow is a recent massage graduate who asked me to design a logo for business and stationary. She wanted a hip/organic feel.

New Product Highlights Brochure

New Product Marketing Guide. Designed in both Spanish & English. This was used to inform attendees of Melaleuca's annual convention about new and existing products and product presentation times.

New Products Article

To announce the new products to the general clientele of Melaleuca, I was asked to design a 6 page spread for the Leadership in Action Magazine. It needed to include information about the products that was easy to read and establish basic branding.

Science Brochure

Designed for my Advanced Type class I was to portray the content without the use of images. I chose to go with a standardized test feel as the data came from those types of sources.

My friend Andy asked me to create a logo for her new photography blog. Since she did such a great job on my wedding photos I couldn't refuse!

Flower Power Packaging

Conceptual Package Design. Organic Soluble Plant food marketed towards teenage girls. We were given the name and product. The packaging has a modern green feel.

Svelte Logo Design

Svelte Salon. Logo Design. Svelte is defined as being Sleek, Urban, Suave. I used the meaning of the word to design the logo's "svelte" look. Altered Worstveld String Extra font.

Warner Environmental Design

Class Assignment. Environmental Design for Warner Bros. Music. Sign system designed after a guitar pick. Sleek metal design with frosted glass.

Puj Booti Packaging

Conceptual Design for Puj. http://www.pujbaby.com/ Mimics booti's extraordinary shape and under the fold is a window for easy product display.

The original homepage was cluttered and turned viewers off immediately. These images were developed as a slide show and gave a fresh clean look to the site. I also developed the idea to create small icons in the left hand corner where the consumer could go immediately to the product page if they missed the last slide. I did all the editing of photos, i.e. making the background white.
